Gold Challenge: The only Olympic & Paralympic charity challenge

As part of the Olympics mass participation programme, Gold Challenge has teamed up with the British Olympic Association and Sport England / Sports Council Wales / sportscotland to offer the opportunity for schools to share the excitement of London 2012 and raise money for charity at the same time. By taking on the 2012Km Challenge, staff, parents and pupils can work together to raise money for your chosen charity and cover 2012KM *through any combination of the following sports;
Running, Cycling, Canoeing, Kayaking, Swimming, Walking, Wheeling, Horse Riding, Sailing or Rowing.
This is a great opportunity to celebrate London 2012 whilst supporting one of over 135 charities.
Gold Challenge can offer your school:
- An Olympic and Paralympic themed opportunity to raise funds for your chosen charity;
- A whole-school project which is free to join, simple to manage and based on participants being physically active within and outside school;
- An opportunity to engage with your wider school community in an exciting challenge which is linked to London 2012;
