London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe and Mayor of London Boris Johnson are urging schools that haven’t already applied to the Get Set network to do so before 16 December 2011, in order to be eligible to receive an allocation of tickets.

Zana Abdollah, a young film maker from Canterbury, has won the opportunity through the Cultural Olympiad programme ‘Film Nation: Shorts’ to have his short film screened at iconic London 2012 venues during the Games, and seen by millions.

Tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games will go on sale on Tuesday 15 March 2011 and Paralympic Games tickets will go on sale on Friday 9 September 2011. Put your school in the running for free tickets to the Games.

Young Ambassadors Conference

On June 23rd 2009 Canterbury Christ Church University hosted a conference for Young Ambassadors as part of the Kent 20in12 Learning Programme. Young Ambassadors from across the county were invited to think of how they may inspire their schools.
